MIIPS Quick Instructions

If your copy of MIIPS has the extension ZIP, use the command
  UNZIP MIIPS.ZIP
to obtain the BACKUP save set.  The MIIPS.BCK file can be installed
by first creating the MIIPS account and a directory with the name
MIIPS.  From a privileged directory one level higher than MIIPS
enter the command
  BACKUP MIIPS.BCK/SAVE [*...]
The MIIPS subdirectories have the following explanations:
[MIIPS]			The top level

[MIIPS.DISPLAY]		Image display code
[MIIPS.DOC]		Online and other documentation (see especially the 
			files V1CHAPTnn.MEM, V3CHAPTnn.MEM, and V3CHAPTnn.MEM)

[MIIPS.INCLUDE]		Include files
[MIIPS.LIB]		Object libraries
[MIIPS.MIIPS]		Contains MIIPS.EXE and other important files
[MIIPS.PHOTOM]		Various photometric calibrations
[MIIPS.PLOT]		The plot package modules
[MIIPS.SAMPLES]		Sample data for tutorials
[MIIPS.UNIX...]		Unix source code
[MIIPS.XWINDOW]		X Window related modules
