2007 Feb/March Oz - Wedding - Hawaii

  • Awake and checking email in Sydney.
  • Catching a few rays on the back porch.
  • Note Mother's fashionable glasses.
  • I still have trouble seeing the family resemblance between Pea and Sallie!
  • OK, now I see it.
  • Penny isn't family, but almost.
  • Back at Krocky's, complete with Jo's matching glass and lipstick.
  • Krocky once again holds forth.
  • Even Michael joined us this time.
  • Dan, Jo and Bart held the sofa.
  • Blurry Sallie and Jo catch up.
  • Krocky and Daniel repose.
  • Next party..... a 2EA operator (current and past) crowd gathers.
  • Birthday boy Big Vic, Sevens, Sal (the archive gal) and Brucey.
  • Even Mel was there.
  • On the beach, Les, Henk and I await our lunch.
  • Lamb, glorious lamb!
  • Even Mom eat some of it.
  • Then, another school gathering.
  • Forever the teacher's pet.
  • Not all showed up, but many did.
  • Fags, money and phones.... we're ready to travel.
  • Dad received an award for his contributions to perspective road design.
  • It's a rather nice one too!
  • Tada!
  • In studio G Trevor finally shows up.
  • The smallest drums in the world. They sounded as you would expect.
  • Les, of course, has even more pedals than I do.
  • After the jam we repair to Les and Tiff's place for a meal.
  • Lily kept busy cleaning the pavement.
  • I guess you really CAN say old friends now.
  • Tiff.... master of the Q!
  • They're happier than they look.
  • Sallie is more awake than she looks.
  • The Ross Man and Ralf in Melbourne.
  • Another dog? At least they get along.
  • Bowl O remotes.
  • Somewhat bemused by the extended family Hayley takes a moment to relax.
  • Of course, she had some help in the relaxing department.
  • Family reunited. Liz and Ralf hang on the balcony.
  • They are joined by more loud family members.
  • Aaron and Hayley got along.
  • Of course, Pam gets along with everybody.
  • Theo, as always, has something to say.
  • James is a good lad for sure.
  • Could I have said something a little out of line again?
  • Liz, Ralf, James and Hayley. One happy family.
  • Ralf and Theo get serious.
  • At Kate and Nate's wedding at last. I don't know why Ralf seems so pleased though.
  • I see.... it's a wedding, Carol is pleased also.
  • Aaron brought, and played, his special vintage keyboard thingy.
  • The brewery garden setting was just lovely.
  • Nate and the boys didn't seem nervous at all.
  • Ah, the blushing bride shows up after all.
  • For once, the bride's maids outfits were not atrocious.
  • Liz takes a post wedding respite.
  • The smoker's corner is always where you find the best people.
  • Dogs too of course.
  • Ain't they lovely?
  • Paul explains once again why Bruce is the Boss.
  • This had only a slight influence on his opinion.
  • Up early the next day for breakfast.
  • And a fine breakfast is was too!
  • Rest in peace Tony Cruise.
  • Back in Hawaii, we take a post holiday holiday.
  • Probably shouldn't show you this, but it IS rather cute don't you think?
  • Our room was close to the pool.
  • Close to the beach also.
  • There's no escaping the packing and unpacking.
  • Some say they don't like Waikiki, we don't understand why.
  • Gardens, beach and civilization. What's to dislike?
  • That white building is our hotel.
  • Back at our favorite brunch place on the beach.
  • Yes, it's a fancy drink with an umbrella. Another reason to like the place.
  • You can see me liking it here.
  • A bar overlooking the beach.
  • That white stuff in the background is the beach.
  • No escaping the maps either.
  • The balmy breezes flow.
  • Meanwhile, back in Sydney, Alex has a birthday.
  • Mother's last outing ;-(
  • Which she enjoyed to the max, as she always did.
  • Obligatory family shot.
  • Chris hangs out with the guys.
  • And the youth enjoyed the speeches also.
