Evolved stars, be they single red supergiants, or red giants in symbiotic star systems, lose mass. This impacts both their evolution and the environment around them. We seek to use high resolution techniques in OI and spectroscopy to better understand these processes.
We are a team of undergraduates, graduate students, and an assistant professor, from throughout New Mexico and the United States.
